Rossville Consolidated School District is launching a new Summer Child Care Program to support Rossville students and families by offering a safe, engaging, and dependable option during the summer months.

The program will run from May 26, 2026, through July 31, 2026, and will be available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program is designed specifically to serve Rossville students while school is not in session.

This new Summer Child Care Program reflects the district’s continued commitment to serving families beyond the traditional school year. Students enrolled in the program will take part in a variety of structured, age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play when weather allows, and supervised free time in a secure school setting.

“This summer program reflects our commitment to supporting Rossville families by providing a safe, engaging, and reliable option for students while parents are at work,” said Gretchen Ford, Child Care Supervisor. “We recognize the needs of our families, and this program is designed to support both students and parents throughout the summer.”

District leaders also note that now is an ideal time for families who may be new to the area or considering a school change to learn more about Rossville Schools and the opportunities available to students. Please visit the website at www.rcsd.k12.in.usor call us at 765-379-2990 for additional information.

“Our district website offers a wide range of information about Rossville Schools, from academic programs to student opportunities,” said Dr. Jim Hanna, Superintendent. “We encourage parents to explore our school community through online research, an on-site visit, or a phone conversation. We welcome families to connect with us and have an open, candid discussion with our outstanding staff about the possibilities available for their children.”

Summer Child Care enrollment is now open, but space is limited. Families are encouraged to apply early to secure placement. Program details, expectations, and applications are available on the district website.
