Sarah Rose Brandenburg, 42, of Frankfort, passed away on October 21, 2025 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born on March 22, 1983 in Lebanon to James Alan Cain and Pamela Renee (Pratt) Cain.
Sarah attended Frankfort Schools and had worked for El Jaripeo, Applebees, and Good to Go all in Frankfort. She attended First Church of the Nazarene. Sarah loved serving others and enjoyed photography, reading and poems.
Surviving along with her mother: Pam Cain are her daughters: Karlye Ziebarth (Jackson Woods) and Kaylee “KK” Brandenburg, siblings: Brian Allen (Jami) Pratt, Kent Kawliga (April) Pratt, and Amanda Frazier (Cory Gellert) all of Frankfort, along with 10 nieces and nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother: Connie Castle and maternal grandparents: Virginia Pratt and Darwin “Skip” Pratt.
Friends may visit 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at the funeral home.
