The Boone County Sheriff’s Office released an update around 2:30 p.m. today, Aug. 8 stating that South State Road 39 from 450 South to 550 South will experience heavy traffic and delays for the next several hours due to a serious crash.
Community members are instructed to avoid the area until further notice.
