Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect Until 8 P.M. Saturday

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Boone County that is in effect until 8 p.m. Saturday. In all, this watch includes 39 counties for several areas in Indiana.

Besides Boone, the other counties under the watch are Bartholomew, Brown, Carroll, Clinton, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Knox, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.

This also includes  the cities of Anderson, Attica, Bedford, Bloomfield, Bloomington, Brazil, Brownsburg, Brownstown, Carmel, Clay City, Clinton, Columbus, Covington, Crawfordsville, Cumberland, Danville, Delphi, Fishers, Flora, Frankfort, Franklin, Greencastle, Greenfield, Greensburg, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Kokomo, Lafayette, Lebanon, Linton, Loogootee, Martinsville, Mitchell, Mooresville, Muncie, Nashville, New Castle, Newport, Noblesville, North Vernon, Plainfield, Rockville, Rushville, Seymour, Shelbyville, Shoals, Spencer, Sullivan, Terre Haute, Tipton, Veedersburg, Vincennes, Washington, West Lafayette, West Lebanon, Williamsport, Winchester and Zionsville.
