Mrs. Sharon Lynn (Melton) Magee, 61, formerly of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, in Seattle, Washington. She was born in South Boston, Virginia, on March 4, 1961, a daughter of the late Willie B. and Mary (Reeves) Melton.
She was married to Brent Alan Magee on April 1, 1991, in Lebanon. He passed away on November 11, 2007.
Sharon was raised in Swansboro, North Carolina, where graduated from Swansboro High School in 1979. While living in Lebanon, Indiana, Sharon owned and operated the Countryside Antique Mall near Thorntown.
She was an avid collector and enjoyed finding hidden treasures at antique malls, garage sales, and auctions. But, above all, she loved and adored her family.
Survivors include daughters, Brandy L. (James) Kendle of Seattle, WA and Amanda K. (Andy) Gyves of Houston, TX; stepson, Brandon A. Magee of Frankfort, IN; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gyves, Molly Gyves, and David Gyves; brothers, William “Bernie” Melton of Scottsburg, VA and David “Danny” Melton of Roxboro, NC; and a sister, Janet Gentry of Roxboro, NC.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, In Lebanon, Indiana, with Pastor Matt Skiles, officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
