INDOT has approved a full road closure for State Road 28 West between Prairie Avenue and County Road 200 West. The closure will be on Sunday, November 7 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The work will occur between Prairie Avenue and Blinn Street. The drainage structures on the south side of State Road 28 need to drain to the existing structures on the north side of State Road 28. The work was planned when the north side of State Road 28 was closed and traffic was on the south side of State Road 28, but since it is unclear when we will open the south side, it needs to be done now, before winter. The structures have no where to drain to until this connection is complete.
There will be no signed detour.
