The City of Frankfort celebrated another new business in town as Stone Alley Hardware & Industrial Supply officially open its doors Friday morning on the west side of town at 1735 W. State Road 28, right across the street from the brand new Frankfort Police Department.

“We’re excited to be on the west side of town and the community,” said owner Peyton Douglas. “There’s not much out here yet. But the way the City of Frankfort’s growing, I think we’re in a good spot to be able to help everybody out.”

The ribbon cutting was well attended as several local and area officials were there.

Stone Alley Hardware and Industrial Supply store on State Road 28 is now officially open to the public.
Clinton County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shan Sheridan is flanked by Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets.

Douglas said he thought eventually the business would like to grow, but added this is good size to start.

“We’ll help everybody that comes in,” Douglass said. “We’re probably going to try and specialize in bolts, fasteners, power tools and stuff like that. Kind of like industrial supply.”

Douglass added they were excited about being open and thankful for the support from the community.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
