Sue Wallace

Myrna Sue Wallace passed away Saturday morning, April 26, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. She was 80. Born February 7, 1945, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Helen M. (Lonis) Freeland.

On November 30, 1968, she was united in marriage to Bill Wallace at Pleasant View Church in Lebanon; he survives.

Sue was a 1963 graduate of Dover High School, and she attended Purdue University. She worked at Witham Hospital and American Red Cross for 14 years before retiring from Healthy Families Boone County in 2010.

She was a member of First Community Church in Lebanon. Sue enjoyed working outdoors, gardening, reading, and attending her grandchildren’s activities. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family. The family would like to thank Pastor Craig Carrell for the support in ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Wallace; children, Bradley A. (significant other, Andrea Muse) Wallace and Shanon S. (Lee) Weakley; and grandchildren, Devin, Trevor, Tanner, and Eli.

Visitation is planned from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, May 2, 2025, at First Community Church, 701 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon. Entombment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
