Suncrest Elementary School students were tasked with a 4th-grade social studies project focused upon Indiana history that resulted in the creation of a small exhibit for the display case at the Community Schools of Frankfort Central Office.
The students were encouraged to focus on and highlight Indiana’s most valuable and popular destinations that are commonly visited by Hoosier families through the use of photographic evidence and captions.
“Fourth grade students and their families shared their own experiences they’ve had enjoying these historic and impressive destinations,” the school released. “Some of the locations included Lucas Oil Stadium, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Victory Field, France Park and Conner Prairie.”
The students also explored and captioned photos depicting the state’s natural beauties, such as pumpkin patches, creeks and flowers, and other students created license plates to spotlight the natural beauty and destinations in Indiana.
“If you get a chance, stop by central office and see this fantastic display,” the school released.
