The Indiana Department of Transportation announces temporary lane closures on U.S. 52 and a temporary crossover closure of State Road 47, located just east of Thorntown.
Beginning on or after Monday, April 15, crews will be closing the left lane of U.S. 52 between County Road 450 W and C.R. 650 N. The crossover located at S.R. 47 will also be closed during this project.
During the closures, crews will be adding turn lanes to U.S. 52. Work is expected to last until late fall but is weather permitting and subject to change.
The official detour for S.R. 47 cross traffic will be a right turn to the next crossover, then a U-turn back on to S.R. 47.
