The 2025 Summer Concert Series, Downtown Tune Nights, & Movies in the Park Dates Released

The City of Frankfort and Frankfort Parks & Recreation proudly unveils a summer packed with entertainment for all ages!  Residents and visitors alike can look forward to a variety of free, family-friendly events, including the “2025 Summer Concert Series,” “Downtown Tune Nights,” and “Movies in the Park” at Prairie Creek Park.

“We are thrilled to offer such a diverse range of activities this summer, and this is just the start,” said Mayor Judy Sheets. “From live music to movies under the stars, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.  Prairie Creek Park will be the heart of our community’s summer fun, and we encourage everyone to come out and participate.”

Events Coordinator Emily Gray added, “We’ve worked hard to create a vibrant and engaging summer schedule.  All of these events are free, and a welcoming environment for families and friends to connect.  Stay tuned, as we have many more events planned for the community throughout the summer!”

The “2025 Summer Concert Series” will feature a fantastic lineup of bands performing on the Farmers Bank Performance Center Stage at Prairie Creek Park.  All shows begin at 6:30 PM and offer free admission, a beer garden, and local food vendors.

August 9: Malachi Jaggers & Feudin’ Hillbillies

October 4: Night Moves Bob Seger Tribute & Thunderstruck

“Downtown Tune Nights” will also take place at the Farmers Bank Performance Center Stage in Prairie Creek Park, offering a celebration of music, food, art, and artisans.  All concerts begin at 6:30 PM. The Frankfort Parks & Recreation are looking to engage more artisans and artist to join them during the Thursday concerts. Artists are encouraged to bring artwork, homemade items to sell during the concerts. More information will be made available at the Frankfort Parks & Recreation office or by calling 765.659.3422

Enjoy cinematic experiences under the stars with “Movies in the Park.”  All movies start at dusk at Prairie Creek Park.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic from a downtown restaurant.
