The Arc of Greater Boone County has announced that it will be a host of a Lebanon Public Library Free Library Box for community members to receive free reading materials to continue their passion for the written word.
The Lebanon Public Library Free Library Box will be located at the Arc of Greater Boone County at 900 W. main St. in Lebanon under an awning for community members to utilize. Community members may take a book from the box for their reading pleasure or place a book within the box to share the material they love most.
“We peeked in it this morning, and there are options for all ages, genders and reading levels,” the Arc released. “Thank you, Lebanon Public Library, for choosing us to partner with.”
The Arc of Greater Boone County stated that the box does not act as a drop-off point for books formally loaned out from the library with a library card. Books owned by the library must be returned to the library or the nearest Evergreen location to avoid penalties.
