The Farmers Bank celebrated the remodeling of its home office in downtown Frankfort. The Farmers Bank started 149 years ago in Frankfort and has grown to hold over 1 Billion Dollars in deposits, making The Farmers Bank among the top 25% Banks in the State in dollars deposited.

Besides the remodel ribbon cutting, The Farmers Bank celebrated the appointment of Barbara Cutillo as Board Chair. Cutillo is the first woman to serve as board chair in the history of The Farmers Bank.

President Christopher C. Cook also announced that Karen Miller, The Farmers Bank President and CEO from 2005 to 2015 has been nominated and selected for the “Leaders in Banking Excellence Award” by the Indiana Bankers Association (IBA). This award is recognized as the highest honor in the state’s banking industry.
The ribbon cutting was opened by a welcome from Steve Latour, Vice President, Community & Customer Experience Officer followed by a prayer by Clinton County Chamber of Commerce CEO Shan Sheridan. Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets gave a few remarks followed by The Farmers Bank President and CEO Christopher Cook. Cook informed the audience of the new appointment of Cutillo as Board Chair, Karen Millers honor and recognition that The Farmers Bank will be celebrating 150 years of service to the area next year.
