The Giving Tree Warms Winter at Library

The Giving Tree has sprouted at the Frankfort Library.  The giving tree “bears the fruit” of gloves, scarves, mittens, hats and even coats to keep children and adults warm this winter.  All items are free for the taking on The Giving Tree.

Each winter item donated at the Library is inspected, labeled and placed in a water-tight bag. The library then hangs the item on the tree and anyone who needs something on the tree can come and take it with no questions asked and no need to stop into the library.

According to Library Director Morgan Maldonado items can be donated by going to the front desk during regular hours and giving your item(s) to personnel working behind the front desk.

Items you may want to donate to the giving tree.  All items can be for adults and/or children:

  • Gloves or Mittens
  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Coats

Frankfort Library Hours for donations are M-Thursday 9-8 and Friday and Saturday 9-5.  The Frankfort Library is closed Sundays.

The giving tree has been growing and giving during winters at the Library for some 5 years now, according to Library personnel.
