Theresa Diana Frisz, 81, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on May 30, 1945, at Daviess County Hospital to the late Joseph and Loretta (Yates) Kempf. She was married to the love of her life, Frank R. Frisz, for over 50 years, and together they made their home in Vincennes. Frank preceded her in death on August 24, 2025.
Diana attended St. Rose Academy and Vincennes University before beginning her career as a respiratory therapist. She dedicated many years of service to Union Hospital, where she eventually retired. She was a devoted member of the Old Cathedral Catholic Church in Vincennes.
Growing up, Diana was an accomplished ballet dancer whose love for dance remained with her throughout her life. Even in her 80s, she could still perform parts of Swan Lake with remarkable grace. She embraced an active lifestyle and, during the early and mid-1980s, hosted workout sessions from her home for family, friends, and members of the community. Diana enjoyed encouraging others to stay active and healthy. She also loved gardening and treasured time spent with her family.
Survivors include her children, Troy Frisz and Angie (Bryan) Reed; grandchildren, Madalyn Reed, Kirsten Reed, Abagil Reed, Amber Carie, and Weston (Kate) Frisz; great-grandchildren, Chloe Parsley, Emily Carie, and Paxton Carie; her sister, Rita (Timothy) Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Diana was preceded in death by her son, Craig Frisz; and siblings, Louise, Connie, Brenda, Janis, Bonnie, and Beth.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Myers Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana.
