Longtime Clinton County attorney and community leader Thomas Little has announced his candidacy for Clinton County Superior Court Judge, pledging to bring integrity, hard work, and modern solutions to the bench.
A 2011 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law, Little was admitted to practice in Indiana state and federal courts in 2012 and quickly became a partner at Power, Little, Little & Little. Over the past 12 years, he has handled nearly every type of case heard in the Superior Court — including criminal, family, probate, municipal, personal injury, real estate, general civil litigation and traffic matters — as well as appellate work before the Indiana Court of Appeals and Indiana Supreme Court. Since 2013, he has served as County Attorney for Clinton County and also worked as a Public Defender.
Little’s community involvement runs deep. He is a past President of the Frankfort Jaycees, former two-term Board President of the Clinton County Family YMCA, and has provided legal counsel and leadership to organizations such as the Humane Society of Clinton County and Little Lakes Estates Corporation. An Eagle Scout, Little says service and leaving things better than he found them are lifelong values.
“I have built my career on working hard for my clients and my community,” Little said. “The role of Superior Court Judge requires tireless dedication, fairness, and humility while constantly maintaining a strong judicial temperament. I will bring the same work ethic I’ve had as a partner in a busy law firm to running an efficient and fair court for the people of Clinton County.”
If elected, Little plans to modernize the court for greater efficiency and work to establish a County Alcohol and Drug Court — a program designed to help rehabilitate individuals with criminal charges through structured, court-supervised treatment. He looks forward to building effective partnerships with local agencies, non-profits, and the community as he works toward the future for Clinton County residents.
