The Thorntown Parks and Recreation Department has announced the upcoming 2025 Spring Park and Trail Clean Up set for April 26 for community members to volunteer their time to ensure that the local park remains beautiful for the entire community.
Volunteers have been invited to attend and help with brush clean up, gardening, community garden set up and pollinator gardening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 at Tom Johnson Memorial Park at 700 S. Pearl St. in Thorntown.
All ages are welcome to attend, and volunteers will receive a free sack lunch while supplies last. The department will also have giveaways and prizes for volunteers from local community businesses.
