The Thorntown Public Library has encouraged community members to participate in the Season of Giving by donating blood this Monday, Nov. 25 through Versiti, who will be stationed in Meeting Room 120 at the Thorntown Public Library at 124 N. Market St. in Thorntown.
The library is hosting the blood drive on Monday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Versiti stated that donors should ensure they eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating.
“Did you know donated blood will typically be used within 24-48 hours after your donation?” Versiti released. “Your generosity helps to ensure local patients have the transfusions and treatments they need to heal, survive.”
