The Thunder in the Park Motorcycle Ride is set to kick off next Saturday, Sept. 7 at Camden Jackson Township Park to honor James “Billboard” Rice as he delivers his testimony of faith.
The Thunder in the Park Motorcycle Ride races off on Saturday, Sept. 7 with the ride leaving at 1 p.m. from Camden Jackson Township Park at 251 E. James St. in Camden, returning to the park around 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. for family-oriented activities.
The ride has been dedicated to James “Billboard” Rice, who will share his testimony of his faith from the back of a Harley from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to raise funds for Camden Community Council of Churches.
The event will also see fun, food, fellowship, corn hole and bingo from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with an outdoor service and food available for purchase throughout the event.
Community members are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs as limited bleacher seating is available for the events following the ride.
