The Town of Burlington has announced that its 2024 Brush and Leaves Pick-Up days for the season with the brush and limb removal date set for Friday, Oct. 11.
The brush and limb removal date is set for Friday, Oct. 11. The Town requested residents to have limbs and brush set at the curb at 7 a.m. Nothing longer than six feet will be collected, and the limbs and brush must be at the curbside of the street at the designated time for removal. No trash, no leaves, no lumber and no items with nails, metal or paint inside it will be picked up on Oct. 11.
The Town also set its leaf pick-up dates, which will kick off on Monday, Oct. 21 and continue on Mondays through Nov. 25, including Oct. 28, Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Nov. 25. Leaves must be placed at the curbside with as few sticks as possible by 8 a.m. on the set dates, and no rain dates will be scheduled.
