The Indiana Department of Transportation announced potential impacts to various intersections in Lafayette and West Lafayette that could temporarily change signalized intersections to four-way stops.
Beginning on or after Thursday, April 10, crews will be performing traffic signal maintenance in the following locations:
- State Road 26 at the I-65 southbound ramps
- S.R. 26 at the I-65 northbound ramps
- S.R. 26 at I-65 NE Frontage Road
- S.R. 26 at Meijer Drive
- S.R. 26 at County Road 500 E. (Goldersgreen Drive/Veterans Memorial Parkway)
- S.R. 26 C.R. 550 E.
- S.R. 38 Lafayette Market Place
- S.R. 38 at Kingsway Drive
- S.R. 38 at Maple Point Drive/Poplar Lane
- S.R. 38 at Creasy Lane
- S.R. 38 at Veterans Memorial Parkway (C.R. 475 E.)
- S.R. 38 at Subarau of Indiana west entrance
- S.R. 38 at Subaru of Indiana main entrance
- S.R. 38 at Subaru of Indiana east entrance
- S.R. 38 at I-65 southbound ramps
- S.R. 38 at I-65 northbound ramps
- S.R. 25 at C.R. 100 W.
- S.R. 43 at C.R. 600 N.
- S.R. 225 at the Wabash River Bridge
During maintenance, drivers need to adhere to the rules of a regular four-way stop. Work is anticipated to last until September but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to be patient and use caution in the impacted areas.
