Lanes Closed On U.S. 52 In Lebanon As First Responders Address Entrapment This Morning, Dec. 10

First responders have confirmed a working entrapment as of 7:37 a.m. today, Dec. 10 for a vehicle accident that occurred in the 2600 block of northbound U.S. 52 in Lebanon, and the extrication of the driver was completed around 7:57 a.m.

Reports were received earlier this morning that an inverted vehicle was located in the roadway with possible injuries. The female driver was confirmed to still be in the vehicle, and Lebanon Fire Department has been dispatched to aid with the entrapment.

Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Police Department, Center Township Fire Department and Boone County EMS have been confirmed to be responding to the scene.

Drivers are instructed to avoid the area and seek an alternative route for the morning commute. Traffic has already been reported to have slowed in the area as of 7:45 a.m. Reports indicate that all lanes of U.S. 52 North off I-65 have been shut down for the accident. Drivers have been advised that delays will occur until around 9 a.m.

No further information has been released as of 8 a.m. today, Dec. 10.
