Two people were killed in a house fire early Thursday morning in Monticello. Indiana State Police Detectives say the fire was on North Lakeshore Drive. Monticello Police and several fire departments arrived around 2 AM to find the house engulfed in flames. After crews put the fire out, they found two bodies inside. The fire is an active investigation by the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Fire Marshal.
