On Thursday morning, Lebanon Police Department with assistance from IMPD and State Police were able to take into custody, armed robbery suspect’s Javenta Chapman 20 and a 16-year-old male both from Indianapolis.
The suspects entered the AT&T store in Lebanon, held the AT&T employee at gunpoint before taking merchandise and fleeing the scene. The suspects were located and detained in Indianapolis a short time later. After being transported to the Lebanon Police Department, Chapman was questioned and his preliminary charges are Armed Robbery 3 Felony, Pointing a Firearm 6 Felony, Theft 6 Felony, Criminal Confinement 3 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana A Misdemeanor. The 16 year old’s preliminary charges are Armed Robbery 3 Felony, Pointing a Firearm 6 Felony, Theft 6 Felony, and Criminal Confinement 3 Felony.
Chapman was transported to Boone County Jail on those preliminary charges. The 16 year old male was transported to a juvenile facility
