Vicki Lea Walker, 78, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was born on February 20, 1947, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Donald E. Bogan and Crystal M. (Harmon) Bogan Collins.
On August 30, 1969, Vicki was united in marriage to Ronald F. Walker in Lebanon. They shared 46 devoted years together before his passing on April 12, 2016.
A 1965 graduate of Lebanon High School, Vicki went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career with The Dow Chemical Company, retiring after 31 years of service.
Vicki will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She cherished her family above all and believed that to make a friend, you must first be a friend. She found great joy in spending time with her loved ones, playing cards with friends, and visiting casinos whenever the opportunity arose. A woman of deep faith, Vicki was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lebanon.
Survivors include her daughters, Lorri L. (Jeremy) Hoover of Whitestown and Kristi K. (Josh) Spencer of Lebanon; grandchildren, Morgan (Tre) Comage, Zayne Hoover, Emma Hoover, Avery Spencer, and Hayden Spencer; great grandson, Wade Comage; brother, Thomas (Penny) Bogan of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Becky Bogan of Brownsburg and Peg Bogan of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Vicki was preceded in death by her infant son, Bryce Walker; brothers, Rick Bogan and Donald Bogan; mother-in-law, Janice Walker; sister-in law, Diana Gaines; brother-in-law, Greg Gaines; and nephews, Brian Walker and CJ Bogan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. A Rosary service will take place at 3:30 p.m. prior to the visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 East South Street, Lebanon. Vicki will be inurned at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown at a later date.
