Community members should brace themselves as the Vikings are invading Whitestown Viking Fest in April to bring the community Viking-themed activities, attractions, goods and more for attendees of all ages.
Attendees of Viking Fest should anticipate seeing Viking-themed reenactors, Viking villages, stage entertainment, artisans selling hand-crafted items, tasty food and refreshing mead, keg toss competition for adults, iron skillet toss competition for children and more. Prizes will be awarded to each age group for the competitions.
The Viking Fest will run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 at Anson Acres Park at 4671 Anson Blvd. in Whitestown.
Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the gate, and children two and under are free.
