Virginia L. Thompson, 92, of Frankfort, passed away August 5, 2025 at her daughter’s home. She was born February 21, 1933 in Thompkinsville, KY to Cecil & Gertrude (Emberton) Dubree. She married Jerry L. Thompson on December 27, 1957.
Retired from Peter Paul & Federal Moguel. She loved her family and traveling. The past 4 yrs she lived in a travel trailer with her daughter traveling. Spending the winters in Arizona, then back home in Indiana for the summer to spend time with family & friends.
Virginia is survived by her children, Debbie (Robert) McDole, Larry (Liz) Thompson, Judy (Pete) Porter, 7 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren and sister, Mavis Purcifull.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Thompson, brother Mervin Dubree, his wife Christine Dubree, and great-granddaughter Cheyanne Hathaway.
