Virginia Sue “Ginny” Alexander, 81, of Frankfort, died August 19, 2024 at Wesley Manor. She was born June 23, 1943 in Sheridan, Ind. to Albert & Edith Marie (Huffer) Alexander. She married Rex Carl Green Sr. and they divorced.
Ginny was a 1961 graduate of Sheridan High School. She had lived in Wheaton, Kansas. She was a longtime waitress at the Common Grounds and Frankfort Country Club and had last worked in the deli at Wal-Mart for 15 years.
Ginny is survived by her sons: Rex Carl Green II of Lafayette, IN and Eric Yancy (Melissa) Green of Wheaton, KS, brother: Donald L. (Margaret) Alexander of Frankfort, IN, sisters: Gladys Bacon of Sheridan, IN and Charlotte (Randy) Wellman of Kentucky, 3 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Funeral Services:
Per Ginny’s wishes, no services are planned. Burial will take place in Scotland Cemetery.
