Warren County Man Sentenced to 52 Years in Prison Following Child Exploitation Investigation

On behalf of the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, the Indiana State Police is releasing the following information regarding the sentencing of Richard Lark, 36, of Pine Village, Indiana.

Lark was initially arrested in December 2024 on preliminary charges including Sexual Misconduct with a Minor (5 counts), Child Exploitation (1 count), and Possession of Child Pornography (3 counts). As the investigation progressed, detectives with the Indiana State Police uncovered additional evidence involving the same juvenile victim. This led to a broader case and a total of 23 charges being filed against Lark.

On May 15, 2025, Lark pled guilty to all 23 counts pursuant to a plea agreement with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. He was sentenced to 52 years to be served in the Indiana Department of Correction.

Count 1: Promotion of Sexual Trafficking of a Younger Child – Level 3 Felony
Counts 2–8: Sexual Misconduct with a Minor – Level 4 Felony
Counts 9–12: Child Exploitation – Level 5 Felony
Count 13: Child Solicitation – Level 5 Felony
Counts 14–22: Possession of Child Pornography – Level 6 Felony
Count 23: Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors – Level 6 Felony
