The City of Frankfort Public Utilities has announced that due to a water main break, the water is going to shut off for the remainder of Tuesday. The area that is going to be affected is 952 Blinn Avenue to 2325 Barner Street plus 1951 Barner Street back to 2325 Barner Street.
The water main break apparently happened Tuesday morning and utility officials were hoping they could fix the issue without shutting the water off.
