WeCare Recovery Home is seeking for a large audience during the “Serving Up Hope” Pickleball game slated for today, Saturday, June 22 beginning at 9 a.m. at the TPA Park pickleball courts.
While registration for the tournament closed on Saturday, June 15, the organization is seeking for a large turnout of community members to cheer on the competitors during the tournament, which kicks off at 9 a.m. today, Saturday, June 22.
The tournament is doubles-only with beginner and advanced brackets. While teams selected their respective brackets during sign-up, tournament staff will reserve the right to move teams based on observations of their skill level to keep the tournament fun and fair.
The tournament will begin with pool play to determine the bracket seeding, and prizes will be awarded to the top two teams of each bracket.
