The City of Frankfort Fire Department groundbreaking ceremony for its new Fire Station 4 took place this hot July morning.
This new facility represents a significant investment in the safety and well-being of Frankfort residents, providing a state-of-the-art station for our dedicated firefighters and improved response times to emergencies in the western part of our city.
Mayor Judy Sheets expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This new fire station is a testament to our commitment to public safety and our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible resources for our first responders. She also wanted to thank the Frankfort Fire Department, Fire Chief Matt Stidham, Deputy Chief Joshua Uitts and Deputy Chief Jamie Michael for all their hard work and never giving up.”
Fire Station #4 is located on the South Corner of State Road 28 West and 600 West.
