The Whitestown Parks and Recreation Department has announced that it will add a bike share program to the town in the near future to help community members traverse the local trails.
“We are so excited to add Tandem Mobility bike share stations to both Main Street Park and the Big 4 Trail Head off of Main Street,” the department released. “Residents will be encouraged to use these bikes for transportation and leisure.”
The Town stated that the project is currently in the works and has not had an implementation date set as of today, Feb. 28. Updates regarding the project and the town as a whole may be found on the Whitestown Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
