William A. Roberts

Mr. William Arthur Roberts, 73, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born August 8, 1953, in Frankfort, Kentucky, a son of the late Albert R. and Elizabeth (Courtney) Roberts.

William graduated from Woodford High School in Versailles, Kentucky, in 1970. Following high school, he moved to Lebanon, where he made his home for many years. He also attended Ivy Tech, studying electronics.

On April 11, 2002, he married Susan Elaine (Harding) Roberts in Lebanon. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2003.

William spent most of his life working in construction and was the owner and operator of Roberts Construction of Lebanon. He also had an interest in real estate and completed Bill Mill Real Estate School in 1990.

William was a loving father who cared deeply for his family. His children were a very important part of his life, and he was always proud of them and wanted the best for each of them. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, sharing stories, lending a helping hand, and simply being there whenever they needed him. His love for his family continued with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. The memories, lessons, laughter, and love he shared with his family will be cherished and carried with them always.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lebanon. In his free time, William enjoyed woodworking, taking cruises, spending time with his grandchildren, and working around the house to make it look nice. He took pride in his home and enjoyed keeping things looking their best.

Survivors include his partner, Debbie Stone; his sons, Adam (Heather) Roberts, Billy Joe Roberts, and Shane Roberts, all of Lebanon; and several grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, William was preceded in death by his son, Steven Roberts; brothers, Mike Roberts, Lucian Roberts, and George Roberts; and sisters, Sue Roberts, Anna Marie (Sam) Dearringer, and Brenda (Edward) Culberson.

No services will be held at this time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation
