Winter Baseball & Softball Registration Opens; Forms Due Jan. 6

The Mulberry Baseball and Softball League announced that registration for the Winter Baseball and Softball Clinic at Groove Athletics at 256 N. Columbia St. in Frankfort has opened for the winter season of athletics.

The 10-week clinic will run every Saturday from Jan. 11 through March 15, and it is designed to help players of all skill levels improve their fundamentals and take their game to the next level. The League stated that whether the player stands as a seasoned veteran or a beginner, the instructors will guide them through essential drills and techniques to enhance their skills in both baseball and softball.

The clinic will run on Saturdays from Jan. 11 through March 15 from 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. with each division begin assigned a 2-hour time slot within the block after registration closed.

Requirements include no cleats, all helmets must have a face mask and all softball players must wear a face mask, aside from tee-ball, and bring a glove.

The clinic is expected to offer a comprehensive training experience that is focused on hitting, fielding, pitching and overall game awareness.

“It’s an excellent opportunity for players to refine their skills in a structured and supportive environment,” the League released. “Spots are limited, so sign up today and get ready to make this offseason your best yet.”
