Witham Health Services Foundation presented a check for $39,510 to Witham Emergency Department to help start up the “Mental Health in the Emergency Department” program at the Lebanon and Whitestown at Anson facilities.
Because of a partnership with Integrated Wellness, Witham now has licensed therapists on call to assess each and every critical mental health case in their emergency rooms. These cases include suicide, depression, addiction, and PTSD just to name a few.
This program was made possible by the Witham Health Services Foundation’s 2019 Fund the Need Gala Fundraiser and will now allow patients in our community to get the immediate mental health treatment they need 24 hours a day.
