Witham Health Services Dedicates Upgraded Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Equipment

The Witham Health Services Foundation announced that Witham Health Services recently received cardiopulmonary rehabilitation equipment its department through the support of the Lebanon Eagles #2062.

The Foundation stated that the Eagles has donated more than $100,000 to the Witham Health Services Foundation to support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation at Witham through their annual Heart Fundraiser that is held annually in February throughout the years. Director of Rehabilitation Services at Witham Chris Gray commented about the support the department has received.

“Thanks to the generous support of the Lebanon Eagles, we have upgraded several machines in our cardiopulmonary rehab department,” Gray said. “Some of the new purchases include a state-of-the-art low profile treadmill and new recumbent cross training devices all of which are easier to access and improves patient safety.”

Witham staff and members of the Eagles gathered on Wednesday, Feb. 12 to learn more about the new equipment and express gratitude to the Eagles for their continued support.

The Eagles is hosting the annual fundraising event this Saturday, Feb. 22 with a Bingo at the Lebanon Eagles extravaganza to support the rehabilitation center. Tickets for the event are $60, which is limited to the first 200 tickets sold. Cash prizes will be available for winners of the bingo games. Dinner is included in the cost of a bingo ticket, but the dinner may also be purchased at the door for dine-in or take out for $10 each. Dinner will be served from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and bingo will start at 6 p.m. Trey Chelf and Midnight Redeye will perform following the bingo games.
