Aissata Mbaye and Abou Ngaide welcomed a baby boy on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, marking the first birth of the new year at Witham Health Services.
Beshir Ngaide was born at 9:19 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 12 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long. He is welcomed home by his siblings, Fatimata, Abdulay and Aissata.
In celebration of being Witham’s first baby of 2026, the Ngaide family received more than $2,000 in gift cards and items donated by local businesses.
