Witham Health Services announced its intentions to expand rehabilitation services in Frankfort to better address the needs of those in Clinton County and surrounding areas.
Witham is adding two new clinicians for physical therapy at our Frankfort clinic under the direction of Dan Decraene, PT, and Lily Del Toro, PTA. Both therapists boast a long-standing presence in the Frankfort area, and they are looking toward continuing their service to the community through the partnership with the Witham Rehabilitation Team.
Decraene graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and later graduated from the Arizona School of Health Sciences with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has been a physical therapist for 26 years, 19 of those years with Tx:Team in Frankfort, Indiana. Decraene holds experience in the areas of outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ treatment, sports rehabilitation and neurological diagnoses.
Del Toro graduated from the University of Indianapolis with an Associates of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Exercise Science from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She has been a Physical therapy assistant for three years and has worked in the inpatient, outpatient and NICU settings with a concentration in treating orthopedic injuries. Del Toro is a bilingual therapist who speaks both English and Spanish.
DeCraene elaborated on the experience that the Frankfort community may expect as they walk through the doors of the Witham Health Services on Wabash Street with the introduction of the new rehabilitation team.
“We know the importance of knowing every patient that comes through our doors,” Decraene said. “We have worked together for many years, and we help each other to create an excellent patient experience every time. We like to laugh and have fun, and our patients pick up on that. It helps to keep things relaxed and promotes healing.”
