A local community member brainstormed an idea over the holiday season to raise funds and donations for the Humane Society of Clinton County and its residents as a means of giving back to the homeless residents waiting for their forever homes.

Cohen organized and launched his generous idea by selling bags of magic reindeer food during the Christmas season to raise money for the homeless pets and shelter. Instead of handing the shelter the money, Cohen engages even more by helping to pick out the donations for the residents.

Through the project, Cohen was able to raise over $250 for the residents of the shelter.

”We got so many things that we had on our list of needs,” the Humane Society released. “Big thank you to Cohen and his family for thinking of us. We appreciate every bit of it.”
