ZGravy Chase traditionally welcomes families from throughout central Indiana and beyond. For the 2019 race, the race had participants from 24 states and three countries. Runners and walkers include parents with strollers, families with dogs and participants ranging in age from infants to 87 years old.
The goal for the 2020 race is to raise $145,000 for the Boys and Girls of Boone County, which is projecting a 40% operational budget shortfall this year due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines.
The 2020 race will be on Thursday, November 26, at 8 a.m. on Main Street in Zionsville. Live race cost is $40 per person. Family of 4 for $130. There will be a 2-mile run/walk and a 4-mile run/walk. Virtual race is $30 per person.
