Zionsville Hosts Annual Puzzle Swap Jan. 25; Puzzles May Be Dropped Off Beginning Tomorrow, Jan. 2 Through Jan. 23

The Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department has announced its upcoming Puzzle Swap with puzzles being able to be dropped off beginning tomorrow, Jan. 2 through Jan. 23.

The event is returning for its third year in celebration of National Puzzle Day, and community members are invited to bring gently used puzzles to Zionsville Town Hall between Jan. 2 and Jan. 23. Those who drop off puzzles are encouraged to visit the Town Hall on Saturday, Jan. 25 to choose a new puzzle.

Last year, over 1,000 puzzles were swapped over the course of two hours.

Puzzle Swapping Rules:

  • Puzzles can be any size but must be in their original box or time. Puzzles in plastic bags will not be accepted.
  • All pieces must be accounted for to enter the puzzle swap.
  • Puzzles must be in good condition and no older than 15 years.
  • No puzzles will be accepted outside of normal Town Hall business hours or after Jan. 23. Town Hall is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
  • No puzzles will be accepted the day of the swap.
  • No puzzles with profanity, nudity or drug or alcohol paraphernalia will be accepted.
  • No wooden baby or toddler puzzles will be accepted.
  • Puzzlers will receive one ticket for every puzzle they bring with a maximum of 10 puzzles per person. Puzzlers must have their tickets on the swap day to enter the swap.
  • Town Hall will be closed today, Jan. 1 and Jan. 20 for holidays.
