A Zionsville Middle School student was selected as a winner of the 2024 Indiana Secretary of State “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest alongside eight other Hoosier elementary, middle and high school students from across the state.
The contest was launched by the Secretary of State’s office to grant the opportunity for children across the state to become involved in the election process at an early age. Secretary of State Diego Morales focused heavily on promoting the creativity and civic engagement opportunities for the Hoosier students as they were tasked with designing “I Voted” stickers that will be distributed to voters at the polls in November.
Out of nearly 1,000 sticker designs submitted by Hoosier children, nine were selected as the winners of the contest, including Zionsville Middle School student Anna Rose Worthington, who placed first in the fourth through eighth-grade category. Morales expanded on his vision for the contest.
“I am incredibly proud of the young Hoosiers who participated in the ‘I Voted’ Sticker Design Contest,” Morales said. “Creativity and enthusiasm for our election process shine through each design, showcasing that the future of our state is bright. Congratulations to our winners – you’ve made a positive mark on Indiana’s elections with your artwork.”
