Rick J. Bailey, 63, of rural Rossville, IN, passed away February 28, 2026 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born February 18, 1963 in Tipton, Indiana to Warren David Bailey Sr. and Nancy Lee (Longfellow) Bailey. He married Christine “Tina” Rader on May 27, 1983 in Frankfort and she survives.

Rick was a 1981 graduate of Clinton Central and lived most of his life in Clinton County. He was a crewing coordinator in the shipping office at Frito Lay, working there for 39 years and retiring in 2020. Rick was a member of the Calvary Church in West Lafayette. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing croquet, cards and board games, water activities on Lake Shafer and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his wife, Tina, daughters, Kirsten (Ervin) Michalak and Krista (Anthony) Kuehl both of Lafayette, Katrina (Tony) Feitz of Rossville, grandchildren, Ervie, Jackson, Joanna, Alexis and Jude, brother, Warren (Anita) Bailey of Delphi, mother-in-law, Dortha Rader of Frankfort and several nieces & nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Jack Rader.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2026 at Green Lawn Memorial Park. Following the graveside, there will be a Celebration of Life from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at his home, 8121 N CR 850 W, Rossville, IN 46065, all his family and friends are welcome.
