Abby & Libby Memorial Park Hosting Weekend of Community Events

DELPHI, IN — Abby & Libby Memorial Park will welcome visitors for a weekend of activities June 13-14, featuring a motorcycle ride fundraiser and a free summer concert.

The weekend begins Saturday, June 13, with a motorcycle ride that will start and end at the park, located at the intersection of North State Road 25 and State Road 218 in Delphi. Registration opens at 9 a.m., with riders departing at 11 a.m.

The cost is $25 for a single rider and $30 for a double rider. Participants will receive complimentary coffee and water during registration, and a meal from Stacks Barbecue will be served following the ride. Route information will be provided at registration.

Organizers are inviting motorcycle enthusiasts from throughout the area to participate in the event and enjoy a day on the road while supporting the park.

Activities continue Sunday, June 14, with the Summer Sundown Concert featuring Peter & Company. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will feature music from the 1950s and 1960s.

Admission to the concert is free, thanks to support from The Arts Federation. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of live music outdoors. Organizers are also encouraging guests to embrace the concert’s retro theme by wearing tie-dye shirts, bell bottoms, or other vintage-inspired clothing.

Snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase during the concert.

With activities planned for both days, park officials hope residents and visitors alike will take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a summer weekend at Abby & Libby Memorial Park.
