Today God took another angle home, June Marie Threlkeld, 87, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Waverly, Ohio with her family by her side. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on January 20, 1935, the daughter of the late Oliver D. and Ruth L. (Adams) Parker.
On November 2, 1981, she was united in marriage to Henry Melvin Threlkeld in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away March 22, 2002.
During their early married years, June was an over-the-road truck driver. She and Henry traveled together all over the country. She was also employed by Bertsch Vending Company for Frito Lay in Frankfort where she filled vending machines. She retired in 2022.
June was a member of First Community Church of Lebanon and attended New Covenant Church in Waverly. June loved reading and doing puzzles. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include children, Jeannie Snyder of Waverly, Ohio and David (Jolene) Crane of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
In addition to her parents and her husband, June was preceded in death by a daughter, Melody Colburn; son, Gary Crane; and three brothers, Richard Parker, Kenneth Parker and James Parker.
Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services.
Entombment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana.
Memorials may be direct to the American Lung and American Heart Association in June’s memory.
