The Clinton County Autism Support Group requested volunteers to help with the setup for the upcoming Special Needs Prom this year.
The group requested volunteers for this Friday, Nov. 8 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Frankfort Moose Lodge at 2880 E. Wabash St. in Frankfort. Organizer Gena Carson stated that this year will see numerous decorations that require the help of the community to set up prior to the prom set for Saturday, Nov. 9. Volunteers are not required to register and may show up at 6 p.m. on Nov. 8 to help.
The Special Needs Prom will dance off this Saturday, Nov. 9 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Frankfort Moose Lodge at 2880 E. Wabash St. in Frankfort. This year’s theme will be “Midnight Dream” where decorations will reflect a silver and white color scheme to create a magical and unforgettable night.
The Prom Court process has been updated for this year’s prom as the Prom King and Queen will be crowned for those 16-years-old and above, and the King and Queen will be supported by the Prom Prince and Princess, who will be below the age of 16. Everyone on the Prom Court will receive a crown or tiara.
“Come out and join us for food, fun, dancing and of course the crowning of the King and Queen,” the group released.
