Mrs. Carolyn Faye Davis, 61, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Kokomo, Indiana. She was born May 3, 1961, in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Julius Howard and Martha Ellen (Frederick) Ford.
On February 14, 1982, she was married to Kevin Glen Davis in Lebanon, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2020.
A longtime resident of Lebanon, she attended school at Western Boone. Carolyn had worked as the grill cook and assistant manager for the Blue & White Truck Stop for several years.
Family was especially important to Carolyn, she loved family get-togethers, celebrating and visiting with each one. She also enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts.
Survivors include two daughters, Loratta (Derico Young) Davis of Kokomo and Jessica Davis of Kokomo; grandson, Derico Young, Jr.; brothers, George (Peggy) Ford of North Salem and Paul (Jessica) Ford of Waveland; and sister, Ruth Jaspe of North Salem.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sisters, Julia Griffin and Martha Rose Ann Ford; brother, Danny Ray Ford; and a granddaughter, Derisha Young.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, Tiffany W., Jordana B., and Andrew and a special thanks Derico Young for all of his care.
Funeral Services are planned for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
Interment will follow services at Dover Cemetery.
