Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Accepting Applications for Merit Deputy Position

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for individuals interested in serving as a Merit Deputy, with applications due by 5 p.m. on June 26, 2026.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, candidates should possess strong moral character, outstanding integrity, and a commitment to serving and protecting the community.

The department is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join its law enforcement team and offers competitive pay, merit-based advancement opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, ongoing training and development, and access to modern equipment and resources.
