Chamber Golf Outing Endures Mist to Promote Clinton County

Misty conditions challenged 15 teams and 56 golfers participating in the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing Thursday morning.  The Annual Golf Event at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course and Arborwood is an important fundraiser for the Chamber.

CEO and Executive Director Shan Sheridan on WILO Radio said that funds from the Outing will be used to continue the renovation of the second floor of the Iron Block building on the Clinton County Square’s Northwest corner.  Several rentable offices, a conference room overlooking the square, an elevator and other amenities are on the drawing board for finishing out the Iron Block Building.

Critical infrastructure improvements have already been made on the building to “set the table” for the second floor build out including a new roof, electrical and other improvements.

Top scoring teams this year at the Clinton County Chamber Golf Outing:

  1. Del Real Auto Group #1 with a 46
  2. Innovative Builders #2 with a 47
  3. Damon/Bulk Transfer #3 with a 49
